Our 'Bread of Life' project is a initiative taken by our youth volunteers who got involved with Restore India to serve communities during the pandemic. As they were visiting communities to deliver 'Aid & Relief Kits' to Covid affected families, they realize the emerging need for providing healthy & nutritious meals to these undernourished children as they were not able to access nutritious meals because of no income in the family during the lockdown period. So the team started with providing 'Nutritious breakfast packs' including Milk, Butter, Jam & Bread as first meal of the day and soon we began to serve Lunch meals to the daily wages laborers too. We are now planning to extend this project to hospitals by providing such meals to IPD attendants who get vulnerable to so many water & food borne diseases due to eating unhygienic food during their stay at the hospital.
