Restore India's goat project is aimed at providing a sustainable income to the goat herder and families in various communities. By giving a pregnant goat to a poor family, they benefit from a source of nutritious milk for their children and the opportunity for future income through the breeding of their own goats. Most often, female goats are kept by the family for further breeding and male goats are sold for some profit.
