Restore India commenced Project Sahyog (in Hindi, ‘Sahyog’ means ‘support’) involving women who have graduated from our community sewing centers in New Delhi. The goal of this project is to create an enterprise which will support income generation activities and hence, give women an income with their new learned skills.

 

Sahyog has launched programs to help generate income through the making of school uniforms, business shirts, fancy candles and designer chocolates. This innovative environment has seen the participants benefit from the guidance of staff who understand how to help them implement projects and guide them in the process of quality control, packaging and branding.
