Our strength at Restore India over the years has been our commitment to what we call 'relationship based development.' This means that we build strong relationships in communities which undergird the projects and give maximum ownership to those in the communities. This can sometimes seem to be a slower process, but it bears longer lasting fruit and impact to lives.
This has worked well to involve, empower and integrate the communities in the projects. This has in turn, increased the capacity of the communities themselves to then continue building for the future.
